July 8, 2016 by Annie Chesson 20 Comments

Up until a few years ago, I had never tried Thai curry. I had tried Indian curry, and I wasn't a big fan of that, so I thought that meant that I wouldn't like any curry. Then I went to a Thai restaurant, someone ...

There is really no reason to make plain dinners when you can throw together a simple recipe like this one that is SO much better! So. Much. ...

Butternut Squash Soup with Curry Roasted Chickpeas

March 31, 2015 by Annie Chesson 12 Comments

Before I begin, I have a tip for this recipe. When you are transferring the leftovers to your Tupperwares after the soup is finished, try as hard as possible not to spill half the soup onto the counter/all over the front of your shirt and jeans and then spend 20 minutes cleaning up as your dog eats half the leftovers. Okay now that we covered that, moving on! This soup tastes as good as it looks! ...

Chickpea and Veggie Curry

March 16, 2015 by Annie Chesson 4 Comments

March has been CRAZY! I think this month has been the least I've blogged since I got started with The Garlic Diaries. So much has been going on lately, and I was planning on blogging ahead enough so that I would still be posting every other day, but I totally lost track of life and just got behind! It felt great to get back into the swing of things today and make/photograph a few recipes. ...
