Thhhiiiissss, this, this, this, this times a MILLION.
These crescent rolls…are just so…so…good.
And they are gluten free + vegan!!!!
….
Psshhh….yeah right. These are the least gluten free/vegan/healthy things ever. I usually try and stick to healthy(ish) recipes on here, but I also like to step out of the box and make something fun and junk food-y every once in a while ?.
Besides, these are going into my Thanksgiving 2015 category, and who cares about being healthy on Thanksgiving? Load me up with buttery mashed potatoes, fried turkey, and five eight slices of pie for dessert.
P.S. We had fried turkey for the first time this past Christmas and…OHHHHHHHH MY GOSH. It was probably the best thing I have ever eaten. Not even exaggerating. And I usually don’t even like turkey that much! It’s my least favorite part of our Thanksgiving meal most of the time…but the fried turkey…I had dreams about it for the next three months. Who am I kidding…I still dream about it.
Give me a plate of fried turkey and a few of these rolls and I will be good to go.
I don’t need much, people. I don’t need much.
So lets talk about Crescent Rolls for a minute. They are just plain delicious. I don’t know how you do it Pillsbury, but props. Props. It’s pre-made dough! How is it so good? Just tell me! TELL ME!!!!!
They are so buttery and flaky and perfect. Absolutely delicious.
But when you stuff a few tablespoons of cheese in there and sprinkle garlic powder over the top…there are no words.
Ha. Just kidding. I always have words.
The cheese adds another level of flavor and richness to the rolls, and when you pull them apart, you get those delicious strings of melted cheese that are just the picture of happiness. The garlic powder adds another level of flavor and pop, pushing these cuties over the top.
Way over the top.
THEY ARE SO GOOD.
It has not been good for me to have these in my fridge without Seth here to eat all of them for me. It’s a testament to my self control that I didn’t scarf all of them down right when they came out of the oven. I have been portioning them out throughout the week.
These rolls would be absolutely perfect for Thanksgiving. Almost everyone has a basket of bread in their Thanksgiving spread somewhere, so why not substitute your regular bread for these cheesy, garlicky beauties??
Everyone will love them. They are impossible not to love. IMPOSSIBLE.
So…change of subject…I cannot WAIT until Friday. I am driving to Iowa to visit family for the weekend, and I get to see my baby niece, Elise! Of course I am excited to see the rest of my family too…but Elise. I LOVE HER SO MUCH. And I haven’t seen her in months.
I am so so so so so excited to hold that little girl again!!
Do you have any fun weekend plans?
Like making these rolls, for instance ???
So yummy.

Anything that starts with cheese stuffed sounds good with me! I love that they are gluten free too. Just shows that gluten free food can still be delicious too.

This is SO meant to be! My sister and I were just talking this morning about planning out Thanksgiving. We decided to do crescent rolls instead of our normal homemade rolls because it’s way easier. These sound even better!
