When I was in North Carolina last month, my friends and I went out to this brewery where we ordered a few (by “few” I mean four) orders of their amazing black bean hummus. I was so in love with this stuff…I immediately wrote it down in my phone to recreate for a blog post!
It is similar to a classic hummus, but there is another layer of flavor and texture present from the black beans. So good!
And so, so, so easy. Throw several ingredients into a food processor, let it go until perfectly blended and creamy and delicious, and dig in ?.
This would be the absolute perfect addition to your Super Bowl spread this weekend! It’s easy, completely mouthwatering, and if you have any Super Bowl guests who are vegan and gluten free, this is perfect for them too!
Speaking of the Super Bowl, I grew up and lived in North Carolina for the first 22 years of my life, so I can’t even begin to explain how ecstatic I am about the Panthers playing in the Super Bowl this weekend! This has been a surreal year for Panthers fans. I can’t wait to watch the game on Sunday.
This post is pretty short and sweet today because I am very sick, unfortunately. I was out of work yesterday and had to get a sub for today as well. The culprit? Food poisoning. From…wait for it…Qdoba. Qdooobbaaaa. My FAVORITE place ever. It is now totally, completely, and 100% ruined for me forever and ever.
I am so sad.
I’m feeling a little better today than I was yesterday, but not nearly well enough to write a peppy blog post. I still wanted to share this yummy hummus recipe with you before this weekend, though!
I hope you all have a wonderful time with your Super Bowl festivities on Sunday! See you next week :).

Which container does this fit in for 21 day fix?
This isn’t one of my 21 day fix recipes, but I’m sure it’d be pretty simple to figure out the container amounts! I haven’t calculated them for this particular recipe, though. Sorry!
I never would have thought to make hummus with black beans, but it’s such an obvious idea now. Thanks for sharing!
