Here we go, January! Today is our official start of Whole 30 round 2 (we did one official round a little less than 2 years ago). We like to eat Whole 30 food semi-consistently as a lifestyle, but we haven’t done an official round in a looooong time.
We are excited! Is anyone else out there doing one this month? I know January is a popular month for Whole 30 – kicking the new year off with a healthy start! I love it.
SO – between doing a full round in 2018 and cooking and posting tons of Whole 30 recipes between then and now, I though I’d put a little resource guide together for you ππΌππΌππΌ
To read about our first round:
For our week one recap + what we ate.
For our week two recap + what we ate.
For our week three recap + what we ate.
Our recap/experience of the entire month!
Some resources and guidelines about Whole 30 in general:
This is from the Whole 30 website and gives you the overall description and rules.

The official “Can I Have?” guide – aka their food FAQ’s.
Other than these, there are a BILLION and one informational resources out there for you if you want to know more.

If you search Whole 30 Recipes on Pinterest, there is an endless amount there, and then there’s the Whole 30 cookbook itself (I have it – I find the recipes to be a little complicated but very delicious!)
The link above (and here) will bring you to all my Whole 30 recipes, but I’ll share some of my faves with you below!
Thai Stir Fry with Curry “Peanut” Sauce
Thai Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup
Blackened Chicken with Avocado Cream

Cocoa and Chili Crusted Steak with Jalapeno Chimichurri
Where to follow along:
I will keep my Instagram super updated with my day-to-day food and what we’re eating, new Whole 30 recipes I’m currently developing, and daily throwbacks to old Whole 30 recipes already on the blog. It’s the best place to follow along! My Instagram handle is @thegarlicdiaries
I’ll also be posting on Facebook, but Instagram will stay the most updated! I’ll see you there, and let me know if you’re joining me!! We can do it together πͺ.
So that’s social media, and here on the blog I’ll be posting new Whole 30 recipes each week along with recaps on how things are going + what we ate like I did last time! Well…that’s the plan at least, hopefully I’m able to make all that work. Last time I did a round and stayed uber updated on Insta and the blog, I had one 8 month old, and now I have 2 toddlers, so we will see! But that’s the plan!!
Happy New Year everyone!
