Ah, the Crock Pot. Such a wonderful vessel for comfort food goodness. Wouldn’t you agree?? Throw your ingredients in, turn that baby on, and let it sit and simmer away allllll day while you’re out doing your thangs. Or while you’re binge watching Netflix. Whatever floats your boat.
And then at dinner time, you pop off the lid and say hello to your delicious, slow-cooked dinner. It’s so satisfying. It has the flavor of a dish that you’ve been stirring and slaving over all day, but the simplicity of tossing some ingredients in the pot and walking away. Not to mention the smell of your house, which is one of the absolute best things about cooking with a Crock Pot.
Your house still smells wonderful when you cook a regular, Crock Pot free dinner, but when you use a Crock Pot, your house is being permeated with the smell of comforting food all day long, and it doesn’t get any better than that! Make a candle that is scented “Crock Pot Dinner” and you’ll be a millionaire, people.
So – our list of delicious Crock Pot recipes begin with this beauty…
1. Quinoa Black Bean Crock Pot Stuffed Peppers from Pinch of Yum
Healthy, flavorful, and comforting. These stuffed peppers will carry you all the way through winter and make your evenings feel like a warm hug.
2. Tex-Mex Short Rib Chili with Chocolate Stout from No Spoon Necessary
Umm…how delicious does this sound?!? It’s not even fair…I need it now. The flavors going on in here are just 👌. Too good to be true.
3. Crock Pot Spaghetti Sauce from The Garlic Diaries
Hello there, old friend. This slow cooker spaghetti sauce simmers away alllllll day long, leaving you with the most delicious, flavor packed sauce EVA. The uses are endless…pasta sauce (duh), the base for meatball subs, an addition to veggie soup, a base for tons of other sauces that can be ladled over meat and seafood…endless.
4. Slow Cooker Irish Guiness Beef Stew from Tastes Lovely
There is a ranking of comfort food, and beef stew loaded with hearty meat and rustic chunks of veggies absolutely makes the top of that list. There is just something wholesome and fulfilling about eating a steaming bowl of beef stew…yum. Kick the comfort up and extra notch by cooking it in a slow cooker…double win!
5. Slow Cooker Chipotle Pulled Pork from Fashionable Foods
Easy, simple, and there are tons of uses! You can eat this delicious pork plain, just as it is. You can use it for tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos, etc…I love base recipes like this! Make this on Sunday or Monday, and you have meals for the rest of the week!
6. Crock Pot Lasagna Soup from The Garlic Diaries
Okay…ignore the waaaaay old throw back picture from when I didn’t know how to edit…yikes…but this soup is BOMB. It will blow your mind how much it tastes like lasagna. Such a fun an unique way to eat the classic dish! Not to mention…it’s WAY less work than your typical lasagna recipe. You’ll be hooked!
7. Slow Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup from Pumpkin ‘n Spice
Mix your regular weekly rotation up a bit with some Mexican flavors! The great thing about this soup is that the base alone is delicious, but you can customize it and make it even better by loading on those toppings. Think of it like a baked potato! Eat the soup plain if you aren’t feeling too adventurous, but if you want to spice things up, throw on some sour cream, avocado, cheese, tortilla chips, or jalapenos! My mouth is watering just thinking about all that goodness.
8. Lazy Crock Pot Lasagna from Spend with Pennies
There isn’t a person in this world who doesn’t love a good lasagna (or maybe there are…but they be cray), but MAN it takes a lot of effort to make! This recipe gives you the delicious flavor of lasagna with like…5% of the effort. The best part? You use ravioli instead of regular lasagna sheets to give it even more flavor and yumminess. This one is a keeper!
9. Easy Crock Pot BBQ Chicken from The Garlic Diaries
This BBQ Chicken is one of my favorite things I’ve ever posted on my website. It is seriously as easy as a recipe can possibly be, but the flavor is absolutely ridiculous (in a good way ????). Rather than just adding chicken breasts and plain BBQ sauce to your Crock Pot, we amp it up a little bit with a few extra ingredients to make the sauce even more delicious, and then after simmering with the chicken all day…indescribably good.
10. Slow Cooker Lo Mein from Damn Delicious
The main slow cooker element to this lo mein is the shredded beef that simmers away in a delicious sauce all day. Throw the veggies in for about half an hour, add your noodles, and you have a pot of lo mein that will kick any take out version to the curb. And, I gotta tell you…I am pretty obsessed with lo mein. It’s one of my favorite foods ever. So give me this delicious Crock Pot version any day of the week!
I hope you are staying positive despite those Monday blues! Whip out your Crock Pot and stay warm and cozy despite this frigid winter weather ????. And that’s an order! Just kidding I’m not bossy I love you bye!
These recipes are not just simple but look really delicious too, thanks for curating them.
