Roasted Jalapeno Ranch

Ingredients

  • 2 Jalapenos
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups light sour cream
  • A few splashes of 2% milk

Instructions

  1. Turn on your broiler and let it heat up for about a minute with the oven door closed
  2. Place your jalapenos of a sheet of foil and place on the top rack of your oven
  3. Close the door, and let them roast for 10 minutes
  4. Take the jalapenos out of the oven; the skin facing upward should be black and charred
  5. Turn them over, place them back in the oven, and close the door
  6. Let them roast for another five minutes
  7. Remove the jalapenos from the oven and place them in a bowl
  8. Cover the bowl tightly with saran wrap and let them sit for 5-10 minutes
  9. Take the Jalapenos out of the bowl and remove the skin
  10. Slice the peppers in half and scrape out the seeds and membranes with a knife
  11. In a blender, combine the light sour cream, ranch seasoning, taco seasoning, milk, and jalapenos
  12. Blend until you have a smooth, uniform sauce
