Sausage, Biscuits, and Gravy


  • 1 pound turkey breakfast sausage
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk (I used 2%)
  • Cooked biscuits


  1. Add turkey sausage to a large skillet over medium high heat, season with salt and pepper, and cook until well browned and cooked through. Remove to a plate and set aside
  2. In the same pan, melt your butter. Add your flour and whisk to combine. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute
  3. Add your milk and season with salt and pepper
  4. Bring to a simmer and simmer, whisking often, until thickened. When thick, add your sausage back in and stir to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper and spoon over cooked biscuits
