Basic Gravy

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups chicken stock

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pan over medium high heat. Whisk in flour. Cook for 30 seconds to one minute
  2. Add chicken stock, season with salt and pepper, and whisk to combine
  3. Bring to a simmer and simmer, whisking often, until thickened to your preference. Serve over mashed potatoes or meat!
