Blackberry, Lemon, Mint Water -- TheGarlicDiaries.com

Ready for the most refreshing drink of all time? Blackberry, Lemon, Mint Water. Man this stuff is yummy. And it is super good for you! The lemon helps cleanse your system, the mint adds some sweetness and aids in digestion, and the blackberries are just delicious..and also good for you. This flavored water is so easy to make and tastes way better than any bottled drink you can get.

I’ve never really been a fan of plain water…I always add lemon or some sort of other flavoring. Seth and I ALWAYS have a little bottle of Mio laying around. I know, I know, if I drank a bunch of it every day I would probably grow to like it…but I would rather just keep making this delicious concoction instead :).

One thing I wasn’t expecting from this water was to get so much color from the blackberries. There really aren’t that many in there, just one little box. But when you muddle them and release all that flavor and juice, it really brings a beautiful color to the water.

This recipe makes about 1.5 liters, but it can easily be doubled so you can keep more around.

You can also edit this recipe to make it taste just like you want. Want more lemon? Go for it. More blackberries? Throw another box in there.

This looks so refreshing and delicious! I love, love blackberries, and I’ve really been craving mint lately. Might try it with honey rather than sugar. I love your photos, gorgeous!

Thanks! I love blackberries too, Allyson, and the combination of the berry and mint is so yummy. Honey would be smart substitution, let me know how it goes if you try it out!
