Baked Ham and Swiss Croissants with Honey Mustard Sauce


  • 4 croissants, sliced in half to make sandwiches
  • 8 slices of good quality ham (we used Boar’s Head)
  • 4 slices of good quality Swiss cheese (we used Boar’s Head mild Swiss)
  • For the honey mustard sauce:
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a small bowl, mix your sauce ingredients together thoroughly (Dijon mustard, honey, and onion powder)
  3. To assemble each sandwich, spread the sauce onto both sides of the croissants (the amount you want will depend on your preference, but we like to slather it on there)
  4. Add two slices of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese
  5. Wrap each sandwich snuggly in foil and place in a baking dish
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes
