Baked Ham and Swiss Croissants with Honey Mustard Sauce

- 4 croissants, sliced in half to make sandwiches
- 8 slices of good quality ham (we used Boar’s Head)
- 4 slices of good quality Swiss cheese (we used Boar’s Head mild Swiss)
- For the honey mustard sauce:
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- In a small bowl, mix your sauce ingredients together thoroughly (Dijon mustard, honey, and onion powder)
- To assemble each sandwich, spread the sauce onto both sides of the croissants (the amount you want will depend on your preference, but we like to slather it on there)
- Add two slices of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese
- Wrap each sandwich snuggly in foil and place in a baking dish
- Bake for about 20 minutes
